Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Portfolio Director to lead our data mapping efforts worldwide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the feasibility of data requests, building a comprehensive view of existing and future datasets, and collaborating with our Business Development and Data Science teams to anticipate data needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data mapping and portfolio activities, ensuring seamless data access and management
  • Act as the primary contact for data and sample needs within the company
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to define future data needs and required tool specifications
  • Recruit medical advisors based on existing and future needs
  • Lead and grow a team of 4 full-time data portfolio managers
  • Ensure reporting of data portfolio team activities for project delivery
  • Conduct proactive scientific and technology watch to explore sources of multimodal datasets and ensure up-to-date data hunt methodology

Requirements:

  • BS/MSc in Business, Engineering, Medical, or an associated field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a pharma company or biotech
  • Animation of board of KOLs is a plus, as well as good knowledge of one indication among oncology, CVD, Immunity & Inflammation, Neurology
  • Business-oriented vision and ability to prioritize multiple work streams
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English and French
  • Previous experience as a manager and experience in portfolio management, strategy, or related roles in health, pharma industry
