Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at Japan Tobacco International. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal supply of goods to our markets while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement demand planning strategies to meet sales projections and contractual obligations with distributors.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, including Finished Goods and Non-Tobacco Materials, to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize product write-offs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure market demand is met with production plans and aligned with financial goals and supply chain capabilities.
  • Manage Track & Trace in deliveries to distributors and ensure accurate invoicing to customers and other transactions via SAP.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes and reduce delivery times through continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Finance or Engineering are an advantage).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics in a multinational environment.
  • Advanced English language skills are required, with Spanish being an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and advanced SAP S4/Hana and SAP IBP experience.
