About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Management Expert to join our Transformation Office at ING. The successful candidate will be responsible for accelerating our organization's metabolism by challenging, inspiring, and developing our organization to achieve its goals and strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Positively contribute to a culture of collaboration with tribes and other CoEs, challenging projects to ensure value creation for the client, alignment with ING's strategy, and simplicity by design both on technical and business approach.

• Co-create, advise, and drive change in the organization through an end-to-end view on the full portfolio.

• Ensure consistency in methodology by collaborating with colleagues across different initiatives, products, and tribes, in terms of metrics and definitions.

• Work with senior management to establish, prioritize, and manage the portfolio of initiatives and provide transparency to enable decision-making.

• Translate concepts into tangible execution and know how to achieve goals in a large, complex organization.

Requirements

• Be able to design, develop, and deploy business analytics dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies.

• Have a proven track record and technical skills, including a master's or bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience.

• Possess strong program management and problem-solving skills.

• Have an ability to work under pressure.

• Be persistent, open, and convincing in communication.

• Be results-oriented with an ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting program challenges.

• Have a strategic mindset, thinking in terms of current events, business strategy, and long-term vision.

• Be able to lead a complex portfolio, setting clear roadmaps, managing capacity, and solving impediments in an agile way.

• Have strong analytical skills and take decisions based on data and facts.

• Have strong problem analysis and judgment skills.

• Have a comprehensive understanding of multisource data modeling and detailed knowledge of database management systems and the ETL framework.

• Have deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Power Query, PowerBI, and DAX.

• Have great visualization skills and analytical thinking to transform data into stories leading to improved decision-taking.

• Be able to validate new data models that support decision-making.

• Have good knowledge of Office package, with the ability to build and work with complex Excel files to manage large amounts of data.

• Have an eye for detail and an analytical way of thinking.
