About the Role

As a Program Manager at Amazon Road Transport Spain, S.L.U., you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our transportation operations. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch and monitor transportation programs, track performance metrics, and report on key objectives that impact deliverables.
  • Use data to understand operational challenges and develop continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various Amazon departments to identify and leverage best practices.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in overcoming challenges and driving progress within a program environment.
  • Manage stakeholders and internal processes, and define standards.

A Day in the Life

As a Program Manager, you will work closely with a range of Amazon colleagues to understand how they work and what you and your teams can learn. You will share your expertise and work together to identify exciting new opportunities and design their implementation.

About the Team

Amazon's Transportation Service (ATS) team is a diverse and critical component of our success. As part of ATS, you will be welcomed into a team that uses air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, to help Amazon's transportation run at maximum efficiency.

We prioritize safety and use the expertise of our people to get packages to their destination quickly, conveniently, and sustainably.

Basic Qualifications

  • A degree.
  • Relevant experience leading cross-functional programs or projects using project-management methodologies.
  • Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced or master's degree.
  • Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams.
