We are seeking a seasoned Game Development Manager to lead our small cross-functional team through all stages of game development, from prototyping to global release. Our flat structure allows for maximum autonomy and responsibility, enabling our teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small development team working on a new project through prototyping, soft-launch, and global release.
  • Generate innovative ideas and concepts that cater to today's market trends.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to build the project roadmap and propose new features to improve specific metrics.
  • Develop documentation and tasks for developers and artists based on proposed features.
  • Analyze data with the Analyst and Product Manager to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide feedback to other game designers on their projects and seek feedback for your own project.
  • Stay up-to-date on the mobile industry, trends, and inspirational games.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Game Designer in mobile gaming.
  • Broad understanding of free-to-play game mechanics and balancing game economies.
  • Deep understanding of free-to-play idle mechanics and experience working on idle genre games.
  • At least one mobile free-to-play game successfully released.
  • Team management experience of leading a small development team.
  • Ability to come up with fresh ideas and lead them through prototyping, marketing tests, soft-launch, and global release.
  • Ability to work in distributed teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Unity.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
