Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the operations at our Sant Celoni plant. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient management of warehouse activities, including the reception of raw materials, consumables, and solvents, their storage and supply to the production plant, and the shipment of finished goods to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Prepare and maintain Quality Management System documentation for the warehouse.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials in designated areas.
- Maintain inventory control and orderliness in accordance with established procedures.
- Supervise cleanliness and environmental conditions of sampling and fractionation areas.
- Ensure timely and efficient supply of materials to the production department.
- Oversee proper storage and dispatch activities.
- Train and supervise warehouse personnel, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety regulations.
- Monitor and document product returns.
- Supervise maintenance of warehouse installations.
- Manage waste disposal in coordination with the logistics supplier.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, implementing preventive and corrective measures.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Logistics at Sant Celoni and will have three direct reports, making strong leadership and people management skills essential. We are looking for someone who is not only experienced in warehouse operations but also confident in managing a team, ensuring clear direction, accountability, and motivation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• University degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a GMP environment and chemical warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in SAP, specifically in the Warehouse Management module (EWM), is essential.
• Fluent in English and native Spanish speaker.
