Job Title: Commercial Development Manager - On-Trade Sector
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of our sales and activation strategy in Spain, focusing on the on-trade sector.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of commercial and brand strategy in the Spanish on-trade sector.
- Establish relationships with key regional accounts and hospitality groups, leveraging personal industry connections to help establish the company in key venues.
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of local bars, restaurants, cafés, and small distributors, negotiating basic trading terms and supporting account setup and coordination with logistics.
- Schedule regular touchpoints and visits to support customer retention and reorders.
- Work closely with the marketing team on POS materials and activation tools, coordinating preparation for trade shows, brand events, and seasonal campaigns.
- Provide structured reporting on customer feedback, pricing, competitor activity, and opportunities, collecting photo documentation and inputting data into relevant tracking tools.
Requirements:
- Experience in FMCG, beverages, or hospitality-related trade roles.
- Proven ability to navigate corporate procurement processes and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills for decision making-level discussions.
- Existing relationships within the Spanish on-trade sector would be advantageous.
- Fluent Spanish (C1+), working English (B2+).
