About the Role:

Ecolab is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Representative to join our Procurement Centre of Excellence in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning and deploying the Sourcing Strategy for assigned spend at a regional level, ensuring supply at the best possible Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as business owner for assigned categories, defining and executing sourcing strategies to improve reliability, reduce complexity, and shorten lead times.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers, applying the Total Delivered Cost (TDC) process and tools to build and reinforce a best-in-class supply that meets company goals.
  • Keep a global mindset, benchmarking regional strategies within the global sourcing team, and leverage Ecolab's global scale to add value and maximize benefits.
  • Develop business continuity plans and risk assessments, investigating and driving actions to remedy supply disruptions and constraints.
  • Build and maintain expert knowledge of respective categories, competition, and innovations, working closely with the business to address questions and needs surrounding suppliers, markets, materials, and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Business, or Management fields.
  • Academic qualification in Sourcing and/or Negotiation is a plus.
  • Technical know-how on plastic and metal parts production is a plus.
  • Fluent English level is a must; another European language is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in International Sourcing, supply chain, or project management is a plus.
