Job Title: Private Equity Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Assistant Manager to join our team at Pinnacle Fund Services. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of private equity funds, providing first review responsibility on a selection of lower risk NAVs, and preparing NAVs for larger and more complex client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of a portfolio of client relationships
  • Review net asset valuations performed by fund accountants prior to release to clients and investors
  • Review capital activity, general ledger, cash activity, and cash reconciliations
  • Review income and expenses, including management and performance fees
  • Prepare net asset valuation files for larger and more complex clients
  • Manage year-end audits/tax reporting with clients' and independent auditors
  • Coach and train junior staff
  • Manage client requests and ensure staff are responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
Requirements:
  • Prior fund accounting experience of at least 2-3 years
  • In-depth knowledge of closed-ended funds
  • Accounting designation desired
  • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts and Microsoft Excel
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple demands, competing priorities, and constant change
