Job Title: IT DevOps Lead

Novartis Farmacéutica is seeking an experienced IT DevOps Lead to oversee and manage all day-to-day IT operations within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure seamless IT operations, manage licenses and vendor relations, and support audit-related aspects.
  • Engage and lead service level reviews/KPIs review meetings with Business and work with vendors to ensure smooth business operations with proper controls.
  • Collaborate with global business leaders and leverage the appropriate DDIT teams and Functions to ensure operational enhancements are implemented smoothly with the right quality and timelines.
About the Role:

As an IT DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Interacting with various business stakeholders, 3rd party vendors, and other IT line functions, including Quality/eCompliance and information security.
  • Collecting operational demands/enhancement requests and identifying process simplification opportunities.
  • Updating and reviewing application roadmaps, technology modernization, and eliminating unused assets.
  • Conducting service review meetings with business/vendors and ensuring SLA/KPI adherence.
  • Ensuring required training materials are up to date and managing license, budget, and contract management for various tools/vendors.
  • Escalation management, overall quality management, technical security management, and user access management.
  • Audit readiness, support for both internal and external audits, and ability to support critical/major incidents.
  • Adherence to GxP compliance processes/requirements/documentation and management of Quality events, Risks, deviations, periodic reviews.
  • Staying up-to-date with internal IT systems and documentation requirements, standards, regulatory environments/requirements, DDIT Service Portfolio, and industry best practices.
  • Developing operational cost estimates and complete financial models.
  • Performing change impact assessments and formulating a right and compliant approach to development and deployment of changes.
  • Ensuring implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose.
  • Managing cloud financial operations and working experience with SaaS vendors.
