Senior Financial Controller

Aquila Capital Concepts Gmbh is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Controller to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports and statements.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Design and implement analytical accounting models to improve financial reporting and decision-making
- Coordinate with external providers, including accountants, auditors, and lawyers, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement internal financial controls to ensure the robustness and reasonableness of our financial reporting
- Prepare and submit financial reports and statements to stakeholders, including the board of directors and external auditors
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics
- 6-8 years of experience in a similar position, with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in auditing at a Big Four accounting firm
- Knowledge of HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in German and English, with Spanish a plus
