Senior Financial Controller

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Controller to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for daily accounting and controlling activities, as well as performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing for assigned areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Own audit, review, and compiling planning, fieldwork, and reporting
- Perform audit procedures and compliance testing
- Monthly VAT returns
- Accounting and controlling activities for assigned areas
- Financial reconciliation of accounts
- Collaboration with external auditors
- Prepare workpapers and reconciliations on audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with local project team and internal stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a large consultancy or audit advisory
- Curious to learn and self-leading
- Thriving on taking responsibility and displaying high attention to detail
- Motivated and able to prioritize assignments/projects and deliver on short deadlines
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced interpersonal skills and positive attitude
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
