We are seeking a skilled Environmental Permitting Expert to join our team at Blue Power Partners. This role involves providing support to ongoing and new development projects, preparing and submitting permit applications, and interpreting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, meteorology, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in energy project development.

About the Role

  • Provide support to ongoing and new development projects.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications.
  • Interpret current and future national and local regulations.
  • Participate in due diligence processes.
  • Prepare client overviews of development status, including risk investments.

About You

  • You will work in an agile and entrepreneurial environment where no two days are the same.
  • You are eager to provide high-quality deliverables and must have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to communicate and navigate in a knowledge domain between technical and commercial topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, meteorology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in energy project development.
  • Experience in interfacing with national and local authorities, municipalities, and agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and submitting compliance reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in obtaining relevant permits for chemical plants.
