Senior Payroll Specialist

Wallbox is a leading company in the electric vehicle charging and energy management systems market, with a presence in 96 countries. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage payroll for Spanish entities in coordination with our payroll supplier.
- Coordinate new starters documentation and offboarding process, in collaboration with external suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, including definition of processes and policies related to payroll and onboarding/offboarding.
- Perform SOX Control Audits.
- Communicate with the finance department to ensure accurate payroll data for financial reporting.
- Update monthly variables, including cantine, private insurance, extra hours, salary changes, and holidays.
- Solve employee payroll and tax-related issues, communicating directly with employees or People partners.
- At least 4 years of experience in Spanish payroll.
- Solid experience in payroll processing in Spain and multiple European countries, with a detailed understanding of local tax and labor regulations.
- Technical Competence: Familiarity with payroll software, as well as ability to work with spreadsheets and databases.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees of different hierarchical levels and cultures, both verbally and in writing.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and meticulous attention to detail when processing payroll data and performing complex calculations.
- Labor Relations Knowledge.
- Degree in Labor Relations, Business Administration, or HR.
