Senior Payroll Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team at Wallbox. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll processes for employees in assigned European countries.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll processes for employees in assigned European countries
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax, Social Security, and labor regulations in each European country where the company operates to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding payroll and taxes
- Collaborate with People colleagues and Finance department to ensure the accuracy of payroll-related information and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise
- Ensure the correct application of any enrollment, changes, or termination of employee benefits, such as health insurance, pension plans, and other payroll-related benefits
- Collect, maintain, and process accurate payroll data, ensuring the confidentiality and security of information
- Provide assistance to employees on payroll-related matters, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct regular payroll audits to identify potential errors or irregularities and take corrective action as necessary. Maintain accurate and complete records of all payroll-related processes
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, increase efficiency, and reduce errors through the implementation of best practices and the updating of policies and procedures
- Solid experience in payroll processing in multiple European countries, with a detailed understanding of local tax and labor regulations
- Familiarity with payroll software, as well as the ability to work with spreadsheets and databases
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees of different hierarchical levels and cultures, both verbally and in writing
- Precision and meticulous attention to detail when processing payroll data and performing complex calculations
