Job Title: Solar PV Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar PV Engineer to join our team at Renantis. As a Solar PV Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of our solar projects in Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management and production of internal and final solar energy resource assessment reports
  • Solar farm design and energy optimization, including curtailment estimates of hybridizations
  • Management of design of site-specific measurement campaigns, defining the most cost-time-reliability effective measurement technology
  • Direct or indirect management of the installation, maintenance and decommissioning of temporary meteorological masts, remote sensing units, and solar measurement stations including their data management
  • Development of statistical tools to estimate long-term energy production of solar farms in operation as well as analysis of power curve performance through SCADA data
  • Analysis of solar climatic data

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Related Field
  • 5+ years experience of development, design and construction phases of solar and PV farms
  • Experience in solar energy calculations
  • Proficient in the use of energy calculation software for Solar
  • Pragmatic and creative problem solving
  • Experience with working with GIS (QGIS, ArcGIS, Mapinfo, etc)
  • Energy calculation report review, including data QA/QC of solar data
  • Experience in Remote Monitoring Devices
  • Excellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders and partners, technical and non-technical)
  • Capacity to work in an international team
