About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting and Reporting Associate Director to join our Global Finance team at Glovo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for external and internal reporting of all Glovo markets, ensuring compliance with local statutory audit and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes to improve accuracy, process efficiency, and compliance
  • Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Lead the local accounting and reporting teams of WE countries at Glovo (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Andorra)
  • Act as the main point of contact for IFRS and reporting purposes with Delivery Hero
  • Partner with local finance teams and HQ to gain insights on financial performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or accounting
  • 12+ years of experience in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards
  • Experience working for a public traded group and familiar with its reporting obligations
  • S/4HANA and OneStream experience is highly desirable
