About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance Operations team in Alcobendas, Madrid. As a Purchase to Pay Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our business units globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to external and internal suppliers.
  • Monitor and follow up on outsourced AP activities, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Manage master data about suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform daily follow-ups to secure timely payments, handle payment reminders, and contact suppliers as needed.
  • Conduct ad-hoc and monthly analysis of AP processes and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO).
  • Reconcile General Ledger/Invoice Register (GR/IR) and troubleshoot internal and supplier invoices.
  • Perform AP closing and reporting activities, analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, aligning with global entities.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting or similar.
  • High level of English (C1 minimum), with French and/or Italian desirable.
  • Curiosity, proactivity, and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on and team player mindset.
  • Prior experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems.
