Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced P2P Accountant to support our Finance Operations Centre in Southern Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our business units, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our Accounts Payable processes, and collaborating with our global process owner for Purchase to Pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the business within the whole Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor and follow up on outsourced AP activities, ensuring the quality of master data about our suppliers from a financial perspective.
- Handle payment reminders and contact with suppliers as a second point of contact, ensuring timely payments and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Perform ad hoc and monthly analysis of AP processes and DPOResponsible for the reconciliation of GR/IR.
- Troubleshoot internal and suppliers' invoices, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Perform AP closing and reporting activities, providing key performance indicators (KPIs) analysis and continuous improvements to align our processes between all entities in our scope.
Requirements
- Be an experienced accountant with a degree in Business Administration/Accounting or similar working experience.
- Have a high level of English (C1 minimum). French and/or Italian are desirable.
- Be curious, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a hands-on and team player mindset.
- Prior experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
