**Job Summary**

Field Energy is seeking a highly skilled Grid Connection Specialist to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing, constructing, and operating renewable infrastructure projects globally.

**About the Role**

This is a newly created position within our team, driven by the ongoing growth of our project portfolio in Spain and the progress of projects throughout their development lifecycle. As a Grid Specialist, you will be exposed to all stages of the process, from wider strategy, feasibility, development of grid connections, and construction.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Gather intelligence and analyze the existing and future electricity network at transmission and distribution level to provide input into the location and electrical characteristics of new developments.
  • Review transmission and distribution connection applications, working with OEMs to gather the information required for applications, and supervising application forms and associated documents for distribution network connection applications.
  • Support the grid connection process for our portfolio of developments through the development and pre-construction phases, regularly meeting REE/DNOs to track progress with developments, submitting Mod Apps and variations to DNO connection offers as required, and overseeing electrical/power system studies to assess fault rides through, voltage step change, and/or earthing design.
  • Prepare handover documentation for our construction team.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in renewable energy infrastructure development, grid connections, and energy markets. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
