Senior Financial Controller

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to lead financial and operational processes and transactions to optimize financial performance for B&R in Spain. In this role, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the definition of the finance strategy for your respective site.
- Serving as the key partner to local managers in determining strategy for your area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing them, and adjusting as needed.
- Ensuring the production of reports, including Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, statement of account, reconciliations, statements of sourcing and application of funds.
- Ensuring the fulfillment of Spanish tax obligations, including preparation and supervision of forms for the Public Administration.
- Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal and external customers to identify improvement areas for work quality and efficiency in your area of responsibility.
- Defining and implementing internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations.
- Ensuring risk management processes are consistently implemented in accordance with ABB/B&R frameworks.
- Translating the finance strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets while overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for your area of responsibility.
