Job Summary

CIVIR is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer at CIVIR, you will be responsible for managing multiple integrated network topologies, provisioning network functionalities, and providing support to our operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and maintain complex network architectures to ensure high availability and performance.
  2. Provision and configure network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  3. Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network-related issues.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends to ensure CIVIR remains at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements

  1. 3+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on routing and switching.
  2. Proven experience administering F5 Big IP, DNS records, and NSX Distributed Firewalls.
  3. Logical network diagnostic approach to faults and problems.
  4. Confident troubleshooting knowledge using TCP Dumps, PCAP files.
  5. Working knowledge of security network technologies, including firewalls, proxy, IPS, WAF, and VPN.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Understanding of Checkpoint Firewalls and policies.
  2. Technical hands-on experience using Cisco ACI multi-site, multi-pod 4.2 and above.
  3. Experience with IBM Netcool Monitoring & Compliance tooling.
  4. Some Spanish Knowledge.
