Job Purpose: As a Network Security Architect at the Straumann Group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network security infrastructure to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its global network.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement network security strategies to protect the company's network infrastructure from cyber threats.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of the company's cloud-based infrastructure.
  3. Configure and troubleshoot network security firewalls, VPN access, and other security systems.
  4. Administer and maintain the Cisco Identity Services Engine and Cisco Umbrella infrastructure.
  5. Participate in IT security projects and conduct on-site rollout activities in international operations.
  6. Maintain system documentation, including Visio network diagrams.
  7. Handle tickets related to incidents, service requests, and change requests.

Requirements:

Education: A degree in computer science or a related field is required. A degree from a Fachhochschule (FH) or a related institution is beneficial.

Experience:

  1. Palo Alto Certification is an advantage.
  2. Cloud Certifications (AWS or Azure) is an advantage.
  3. At least 5 years of experience in network security.
  4. At least 3 years of experience in network security architecture.
  5. Extensive experience and efficiency in troubleshooting.
  6. Good networking skills required in Switching & Routing.
  7. Good service management skills.
  8. Experience with OT Security is an advantage.
  9. Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine.
  10. Experience with NFV (virtualization of Network Security components) is an advantage.
  11. Strong experience with AAA methods (Radius, Tacacs+, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, IPSK, Captive portal,...).
  12. Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, German is an advantage.
