We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. In this role, you will be responsible for the storage, distribution, maintenance, and accounting of food and beverage, general supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of the storage area according to standards.

  • Verify that products are received, issued, documented, stored, and ordered according to company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with other departments on warehouse operational matters when necessary.
  • Issue stock/supplies to staff submitting duly approved requisition forms as per standard operating procedure (SOP).
  • Keep application forms on file, ensuring they are properly completed and acknowledged by the requesting party.
  • Ensure that all items stored in freezers are properly packed in plastic bags and labeled with appropriate labels.
  • Receive, document, store, and issue all goods and materials ordered.
  • Issue received goods to proper departments.
  • Keep shipping and receiving log up to date.
  • Take and maintain Inventory of storeroom product.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in a hotel's accounting department. Fluency in Spanish and English is also a requirement. We are looking for someone who is able to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high-level attention to detail.
