Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Guest Services Associate III to join our team at Marriott. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests, communicating any discrepancies or issues to the relevant teams.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station, answering and processing guest calls, requests, and questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
  • Supply guests with directions and information, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift, maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.
