Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Executive to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and administering our information systems, including all computers, servers, internet, email servers, and local and wide area networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer information systems, including all computers, servers, internet, email servers, and local and wide area networks.
  • Serve as a resource for other technicians and users in solving technical problems.
  • Assist the IT Manager in the implementation and maintenance of information systems, data processing systems, and procedures for Accor Hotels.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with all departments.
  • Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide effective support to the department to enable them to provide effective and efficient services.
  • Identify optimal, cost-effective use of resources.
  • Assist the IT Manager to conduct periodic and annual inventory audits of equipment and recommend replacement of equipment if required.
  • Ensure to educate users on issues such as security, virus prevention, and password protection.
  • Train user departments on the usage of PCs, terminals, printers, other peripherals, and any other program applications installed.
  • Ensure to maintain contacts with all user departments, hardware vendors, and other representatives pertaining to systems.
  • Act as a front-line interface to internal and external users by resolving queries or complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate operations with Department Coordinators, Supervisors, and other Departmental Managers to ensure operational readiness, efficiency in resource utilization, and the prompt delivery of services.
  • Ensure that all software licensing laws are adhered to.
  • Ensure the smooth running of all systems, including anti-virus software, print services, and email provision.
  • Install computer systems, ensure that backup systems operate effectively, buy hardware and software, provide technology infrastructures for the organization, and contribute to organizational policy with regard to quality standards.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Information Technology.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Windows Operating System.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Service-oriented with an eye for details.
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
