Job Overview

We are in search of a proactive and driven Director of Commercial Operations to join our vibrant team based in Palma.

This role requires an experienced professional who will collaborate with the Commercial Director to manage and guide the team in executing the company's strategic objectives and fostering growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and spearhead the acquisition of new sales channels and commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to formulate the commercial budget across all markets on an annual and quarterly basis.
  • Assess and analyze the performance of commercial activities, preparing comprehensive reports for senior management and clients.
  • Enhance operational and cost efficiencies by streamlining processes and advancing technology.
  • Partner with cross-country teams to develop, implement, and drive a mid to long-term strategic commercial plan aligned with business objectives.
  • Innovate and enhance products, portfolios, and services by sharing best practices.
  • Engage in national and international industry events, networking opportunities, and workshops.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of workshops and training for colleagues.
  • Define and lead acquisition strategies, including scouting trips and hosting clients as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years in a commercial, contracting, or product management role.
  • A degree in Tourism or Business Administration.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset paired with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Exceptional sales, communication, and presentation skills, with strong relational and persuasive abilities.
  • A highly motivated, proactive team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a multinational and multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on key business indicators and competitive trends.
