Medical Director Oncohematology

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Manager to join our team in Oncohematology. As a key member of our medical affairs team, you will provide strategic medical input into core brand strategies and support medical/marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, oversight, and support for assigned products/projects in collaboration with affiliate/Area Medical teams, Marketing, RA, Clinical, and other functional areas.
- Establish and approve scientific methods for hypotheses, rational, design of affiliate/Area/Global protocols and their reports.
- Participate in the design and execution of clinical trial safety, product safety, and risk management plans, and review, assess, and report applicable Adverse Events (AEs) and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
- Oversee the conduct of clinical trials and be medically and scientifically accountable for the resolution of safety issues, interpretation of statistical analyses for clinical significance, PI selection, scientific documents reporting safety monitoring, and other scientific reports submitted to regulatory authorities.
- Provide scientific/medical education to investigators, clinical monitors, and Global Project Team members related to therapeutic area or disease-specific information, and stay up-to-date with professional information and technology through conferences and/or medical literature.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical studies and global drug development, and serve as the scientific team interface for key regulatory discussions.
- May act as medical/scientific leader for projects within an area or across several areas, assist with the scientific review, development, approval, execution, and communication of affiliate/area/global medical affairs-sponsored or supported clinical research activities, and lead cross-functional sub-teams responsible for discrete projects within the therapeutic area.
We are looking for a candidate with a scientific university degree or equivalent with relevant therapeutic specialty in an academic or hospital environment, and a minimum of 4 years of medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia or equivalent. Proven leadership skills in a cross-functional global team environment, ability to interact externally and internally to support global business strategy, and ability to run a clinical study or medical affairs team independently with little supervision are essential.
Expert knowledge in Oncohematology, ideally within the LLC and/or LMA indications, and excellent oral and written English and Spanish communication skills are required.
