About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Manager to join our team in Oncohematology. As a Medical Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic medical/scientific input for our Spanish Affiliate into core medical affairs activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist medical/scientific strategic and operational input for the Spanish Affiliate into core medical affairs activities.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and commercial teams to provide strategic medical input into core brand strategies.
- Support medical/marketing activities, including promotional material generation and product launches.
- Establish and approve scientific methods for hypotheses, rational, design of affiliate/Area/Global protocols and their reports.
- Participate in design and execution of clinical trial safety, product safety, and risk management plans.
- Review, assess, and report applicable Adverse Events (AEs) and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
- Oversee the conduct of clinical trials and be medically and scientifically accountable for resolution of safety issues.
- Provide scientific/medical education to investigators, clinical monitors, and Global Project Team members.
- Keep abreast of professional information and technology through conferences and/or medical literature.
- Responsible for understanding regulatory requirements related to clinical studies and global drug development.
Requirements:
- Scientific University degree or equivalent with relevant therapeutic specialty in an academic or hospital environment.
- Minimum of 4 years of medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia or equivalent.
- Proven leadership skills in a cross-functional global team environment.
- Ability to interact externally and internally to support global business strategy.
- Ability to run a clinical study or medical affairs team independently with little supervision.
- Knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements governing clinical trials, and experience in development strategy and the design of protocols.
- Expert knowledge in Oncohematology ideally within the LLC and/or LMA indications.
- Excellent oral and written English and Spanish communication skills.
