Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Global Quality Manager to lead our quality initiatives and ensure the highest standards are maintained across all production and R&D activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Engineering Leadership: Develop and implement global quality strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee and manage supplier quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Automotive Quality Management: Apply your 7+ years of quality experience in the automotive sector to maintain and improve quality processes in line with industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direct management and mentorship to a virtual team of Quality Engineers in India, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Production & R&D Oversight: Work closely with production and R&D teams to integrate quality processes into the development and manufacturing of multidisciplinary products.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure that these are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all products meet automotive ISO standards and comply with global functional safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Engineering, including significant experience in supplier management.
  • At least 7 years of quality experience in the automotive industry.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in direct people management, with a track record of leading virtual teams.
  • Hands-on experience in both production and R&D environments, particularly with multidisciplinary products.
  • Experience in a global company setting, with a strong understanding of international quality standards.
  • Direct experience with functional safety in an automotive context is mandatory.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive ISO standards.
  • Strong familiarity with quality processes in electrical or mechanical engineering.

Education:

  • A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
