The Position
We are looking for a Cloud Platform Architect to design and implement cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Salesforce SFDC and cross-cloud migrations.
Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful deployment and integration of cloud technologies, and you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural principles and design considerations to optimize platform performance and efficiency.
Your key responsibilities:
Designing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.
Utilizing your knowledge of cloud architectural principles, SaaS, PaaS, integration patterns, and application servers.
Ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of applications and updates in the cloud environment.
Executing cross-cloud migrations, particularly with Salesforce SFDC and other Cloud providers, such as AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
Facilitating seamless integration and data migration between different cloud platforms.
Exhibiting awareness of platform-specific design considerations, including handling large data volumes, allocation limits, and data migration challenges.
Proactively identifying potential technical design risks and working towards developing governance strategies to mitigate these risks.
Displaying a strong understanding of business processes and objectives to design cloud solutions that meet business requirements effectively.
Who you are:
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
You have over 5 years of experience as a Cloud Platform Architect or similar role.
You have strong expertise in Salesforce SFDC and cross-cloud migration with experience in AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or other major cloud providers.
In-depth knowledge of cloud architectural principles, SaaS, PaaS, integration patterns, and application servers.
You are proficient in release management, source control, and deployment technologies like CI/CD pipelines, Metadata API, and integration services.
