This role is ideal for an experienced Python developer who has led teams and architected high-performance solutions. You will take full ownership of projects - from architecture to deployment - ensuring alignment with our goals and standards, and working cross-functionally with Product, DevOps, and Security teams.
- Lead and mentor a team of Python developers, providing guidance on best practices, code quality, and development processes.
- Design, architect, and oversee the implementation of scalable, high-performance software solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, DevOps, and Security to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of software development experience focused on Python, including 5+ years of experience leading development teams, mentoring junior engineers, or managing development processes. Proven experience in startup environments, adapting to change and working with limited resources to deliver innovative solutions is also required.
You will work in a fully distributed team environment and require a high level of autonomy and self-organization to thrive. Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools is a must. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.
Skill Requirements:
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, microservices, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with database/streaming products such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Event Hub, Kinesis, MongoDB, DocumentDB, Milvus, ElasticSearch.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern deployment practices.
- Cybersecurity domain knowledge, with a focus on developing secure software applications or integrating security practices into development.
- Architect certification from one of the main cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
