About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at Trouw Nutrition. As a key member of our production/technical department, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repair work on electrical and/or mechanical installations or equipment to ensure the optimal running of production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out inspections and preventive/planned maintenance activities based on maintenance schedules/checklists to identify and rectify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and defects in equipment, machinery, measuring and control systems, and other parts of the installation to determine the root cause and implement necessary repairs or modifications.
  • Perform emergency repairs and disassemble equipment/machinery as needed to maintain production continuity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete jobs of more extensive and/or complex nature, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of technical disciplines such as construction, mechanical, rotating, and electrical.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working within a production environment. You will be required to work at heights, confined spaces, and in areas with extreme temperatures. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to working hours and be willing to adapt to changing priorities as required.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
