About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Verification Specialist for Mixed Signal Circuits to join our team at Bosch. As a key member of our verification team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing verification strategies for complex mixed-signal circuits.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop accurate behavioral models for mixed-signal circuits, ensuring they meet the required specifications and performance criteria.
  2. Verify the performance and accuracy of the developed models against circuit-level simulations and measurements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  3. Collaborate closely with system architects and analog/digital designers to understand circuit specifications, design intent, and performance requirements, ensuring seamless integration with the overall system design.
  4. Develop mixed-signal verification strategies for state-of-the-art SoCs containing high-speed digital circuits and sensitive analog/RF circuits, ensuring robust and reliable verification.
  5. Implement verification plans and track their coverage, ensuring comprehensive verification of the mixed-signal circuits.
  6. Develop and run system simulations to verify the design, analyze performance, power, and timing, and uncover bugs, ensuring the highest quality of the final product.
  7. Replicate root causes and debug issues in the pre-silicon environment, resolving problems efficiently and effectively.
  8. Find and implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests, ensuring the verification process is robust and reliable.
  9. Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology, ensuring the verification process is efficient and effective.
  10. Implement/maintain post-processing scripts for assessing system performance, providing valuable insights into the system's behavior.
  11. Development of tools for automated generation of verification reports and regression management, streamlining the verification process and improving productivity.

Requirements

  1. You should possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the industry.
  2. Additional qualifications/skills include:
    1. Experience in developing high-quality validation plans, collecting and analyzing test results, and debugging failures to RTL/gate/schematic level.
    2. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
    3. Ability to produce results in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-site, multi-group environment.
    4. Good working knowledge of Verilog/SystemVerilog is a must.
    5. Good working knowledge of UVM.
    6. Good working knowledge of DSP techniques used for assessing performance of Radar systems.
    7. Experience in setting up, running, and debugging Gate Level simulations.
    8. Work experience with at least one other verification aspect like System modeling or Formal verification etc. would be an added advantage.
    9. Proficiency in scripting languages and utilities including Make, Python, etc. will be a bonus.
    10. Should be able to contribute as an Individual Contributor or technically lead a group of team members as per requirements.
