Senior Battery Development Engineer for Advanced Energy Storage

CIDETEC Energy Storage is a leading research center dedicated to the development of advanced battery technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Battery Development Engineer to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of cutting-edge battery technologies, from chemistry to final application. As a Senior Battery Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing cells, modules, and battery packs tailored to our customers' needs.
Your primary focus will be on managing projects, optimizing resources, and maximizing results. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that all project objectives are met, and deadlines are respected.
Responsibilities- Continuous monitoring of project scope and progress.
- Managing project documentation, including writing project reports.
- Analysis of possible improvements while projects are underway.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering, battery technology, or a related field. Your expertise should include:
- Sensors and pressure control systems.
- Mechanical setup development.
- Programming (Python, MatLab, etc.).
- Data acquisition systems (Datalogger).
- Knowledge of sensorics.
In addition to your technical skills, we require excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience working independently and as part of a team is essential.
What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
