Heavy Lift Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Lift Technician to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of our wind energy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-defined technical tasks, including heavy lift works and special onsite works, on-site and remotely.
• Support SGRE regions remotely and onsite, and provide 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues.
• Contribute to or conduct the maintenance and improvement of internal tools, equipment, processes, and data repositories.
• Adhere to defined processes and applicable regulations.
• May be involved in technical design and developments for service offerings.

Requirements

• Technical education in electromechanical area.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in wind energy and heavy lifts works.
• Good communication skills with a medium command of English (B1-B2 level); Spanish, both written and verbal.
• An open mind-set willing to join an international environment and interested in joining an intercultural team.
• Skills and competences on continuous improvement, initiative and proactivity, creativity, communication and dialogue, loyalty and integrity, responsibility and commitment.
• Experience working with the Office Package.
• Qualifications and experience working with Legacy Gamesa machines: G4X, G5X, G8X, G9X.
• Also qualification in: SG2X, SG3X, SG4X, SG5X.
• GWO trainings.
• Ability to travel internationally.
