Job Title: Material Planning Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Material Planning Specialist to join our team at Mondelez International. As a Material Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop short- and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for items produced internally and externally.
  • Meet customer fill rate, deliver finished goods inventories at or below target levels, and meet waste objectives.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for continuous improvement of the plan.
  • Maintain the integrity of system data and information for supply planning.
  • Deliver master and detailed schedules and long-range plans, including capacity considerations, and material requirement plans using system tools.

Requirements:

  • Experience in FMCG/CPG environment, preferably food or other fast-moving, dynamic industry where shelf life is a constraint.
  • Experience in an IBP/S&OP environment.
  • Able to influence cross-functional teams, working on key priorities and improving the plan.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, able to understand and interpret data.
  • Team player who can work with many other functions on a daily basis.

About the Role:

You will deliver on the medium- to long-term (9-12 months) forecast of material requirements to suppliers and activities related to mid- to long-term material requirements for assigned plants or co-packers across the region. You will cover one to two plants or a set of co-packers, including PO management to call-off materials. You will track the contract coverage position and raise any new requisitions to procurement and identify risks and opportunities in medium-term material supply plans and drive dialogue and escalation.
