Chemical Compliance Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Toxicology or Chemistry, and a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a regulatory role. They should have a thorough understanding of regulatory principles and guidelines, including EU REACH and GHS/SDS, and be able to interpret regulations, assess impact, and drive actions. Additionally, they should be able to prepare and submit reports to external regulatory agencies according to required deadlines.
This position will be located at one of our facilities in Putzbrunn (Germany), Barcelona (Spain), or Livingston (Scotland), with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs. The salary for this role is estimated to be around €75,000 - €100,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on chemical regulations and ensure compliance with EU REACH and GHS/SDS.
- Represent Gore in industry forums and meetings with regulators.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of EMEA chemical control regulations.
