Job Title: Performance Monitoring Analyst

The Performance Monitoring Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of wind and solar assets. This position involves developing and monitoring performance indicators to detect and resolve issues related to asset operation.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct in-depth analyses of solar and wind turbine performance to identify areas for improvement and compare against targets.
  2. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to perform root cause analysis (RCA) of detected issues.
  3. Design and implement reporting capabilities to support monitoring efforts, creating interactive business intelligence (BI) reports.
  4. Manage detected items to track resolution and added value, maintaining a strong relationship with Asset Managers and operating site managers.
  5. Work as part of a global team, contributing to initiatives that enhance the group's capabilities and performance.
  6. Develop and execute ad-hoc queries in SQL, Python, and other languages to capture data for analysis.
  7. Partner with technical staff to identify turbine modifications that can increase performance and quantify potential financial benefits.
  8. Ensure the accuracy and quality of performance datasets by verifying against original sources and updating regularly.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
  2. 0 – 3 years of professional experience.
  3. Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, and C.
  4. Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products.
  5. Competency in Analytical Problem Solving, Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
  1. Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment.
  2. Speech/Reading: Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently and deliver a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
  3. Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds.
  4. Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
  5. Safety: Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions when necessary.
