At TransPerfect, we are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships and serving as the first level of support to existing clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in strategic business development and client services/account management. They will possess excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

We offer a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where you will have the opportunity to learn about each client's industry, business needs, and company culture to identify new business opportunities and provide a high level of service.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an effective understanding of our services and their competitive advantages
  • Identify prospective customers and individual organizations to focus on sales activities
  • Develop new client relationships via cold calling, Internet, and trade shows
  • Promote and educate clients regarding our services
  • Provide customer support and manage client expectations in liaison with our Production Management Team
  • Manage and control pricing and contractual issues
  • Take an active role in learning about each client's industry, business needs, and company culture
