About the Role:
Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying digital solutions that ensure the software development life cycle in an agile setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop digital solutions using cloud technology.
- Analyze and decompose business requirements into technical functionalities.
- Produce clean and efficient code based on business requirements and specifications.
- Create Notebooks, pipelines, and workflows in SCALA or Python to ingest, process, and serve data in our platform.
- Be a technical lead for junior and external developers.
- Participate in retrospectives and propose optimizations to improve Nordex' development processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Experience or certification in Databricks, SQL data warehousing, Azure Data lakes.
- Fluent English skills (German or Spanish skills are a plus).
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Solution Developer, Software Engineer, or similar position with a successful track record in complex project environments.
- Profound knowledge of Scala, T-SQL, and experience in data analytics platforms.
- Experience in agile development and its related tools, e.g., Azure DevOps, CICD processes.
- Availability to travel.
