Job Overview

Nordex Group is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying digital solutions that ensure the software development life cycle in an agile setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop digital solutions using cloud technology.
  • Analyze and decompose business requirements into technical functionalities.
  • Produce clean and efficient code based on business requirements and specifications.
  • Create Notebooks, pipelines, and workflows to ingest, process, and serve data in our platform.
  • Develop technical documentation and lead junior and external developers.
  • Participate in retrospectives and propose optimizations to improve Nordex' development processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience or certification in Databricks, SQL data warehousing, Azure Data Lakes.
  • Fluent English skills (German or Spanish skills are a plus).
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Solution Developer, Software Engineer, or similar position with successful track record in complex project environments.
  • Proficient knowledge of Scala, T-SQL, and experience in data analytics platforms, agile development, and its related tools.
