3D Environment Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Environment Artist to join our team at Gameloft. As a 3D Environment Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D environments for our games. Your primary focus will be on modeling, texturing, and integrating in-game environments based on concepts, 3D mock-ups, and art direction specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Model, texture, and integrate in-game environments based on concepts, 3D mock-ups, and art direction specifications.
- Create the environment from its conception (Whitebox) to define spaces and balance performance and visual quality.
- Ensure that your own textures and materials meet technical parameters and guidelines.
- Contribute to keeping levels organized and perform necessary technical tasks (probes and other sub-systems).
- Optimize data and workflow to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with design teams to ensure level implementation meets expectations.
- Track and fix bugs during and after creating levels.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
- Proficient in 3ds Max, Substance suite, and Z-brush. Blender can be optionally used.
- Skilled in creating PBR assets and the PBR workflow.
- Good eye for detail and asset organization.
- Flexible in adapting to different art styles.
- At least 3 years of experience in video game production with a track record of shipped projects.
- Knowledge of video game art standards.
- Ability to work with and within a team, contributing to a healthy work environment.
- Good communication skills.
