We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Amazon Spain Fulfillment, S.L.U. as an Area Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a large and diverse team to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Promote a Culture of Safety and Wellbeing: Foster a safe and healthy work environment for your team members.
- Analyse and Implement Corrective Actions: Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity levels.
- Support and Lead a Team: Provide guidance and support to your team members, and handle administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the team.
- Analyse Performance and Suggest Process Improvements: Analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements to optimize work processes and improve customer service.
- Collaborate with Other Managers: Work with other managers to standardize shift processes and ensure seamless operations.
As an Area Manager, you will work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site. You will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, prioritize routine team management and daily operational tasks, and handle individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide-scale operational contingency planning.
Working with the Operations TeamYou will work closely with colleagues in other teams and external partners to ensure we meet our customer demands and targets. This will involve analysing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, and discussing operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree or working towards one is required.
- Advanced Proficiency in English and Local Language: Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language is required.
- Relevant Experience in Data Analysis: Relevant experience in performing data analysis is required.
