Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support across all cost-related matters within our petrochemical refinery projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cost engineering expertise and coordinate activities as group/unit leader as required.
- Responsible for the preparation, review, monitoring, analysis, and reporting of all project-associated capital expenditures and spending.
- Review and analyze claims and change orders, and assist in the preparation of the cost portion of engineering procurement and construction contracts.
- Assist with the preparation of the cost portion of engineering, procurement, and construction contracts.
- Review multi-discipline conceptual, detailed, and definitive cost estimates for company capital projects to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the scope of work.
- Review and verify Material Take-offs (MTOs) against engineering documents or packages for estimates prepared by engineering contractors.
- Assist project management team in negotiating project contracts as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost engineering and project management, with experience in the petrochemical industry. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role.
