About the Role
The Group Legal and Compliance team is responsible for providing legal services and support to the business, focusing on areas such as business development, joint ventures and partnerships, disputes and litigation, competition law, international trade, funding, environment, climate change, health and safety, corporate issues, corporate governance, compliance and data protection, commercial contracts, labor law, intellectual property, and trade secrets.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted senior legal advisor in Spain, providing sound and pragmatic counseling to minimize and mitigate legal risks.
- Advise on a wide variety of commercial and corporate matters, with a particular focus on Spanish regulatory law, commercial and civil law, and labor law.
- Deliver training to business teams on legal and compliance-related matters.
- Participate in international legal initiatives and share best practices, new challenges, and developments.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in a wide range of legal matters, including administrative law, commercial and corporate law, and labor law.
- Experience in an international law firm or company is a prerequisite.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Master's degree in Spanish Law or Dual degree in Law and Business Administration.
- Admitted to the Bar in Spain.
