**Job Summary**

The Axa Group is seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Officer to join its Risk & Control team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of internal controls across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support 1st line managers and teams in defining the approach to describe and operate controls, performing 2nd line control activities.
  • Elaborate testing plans for specific scopes, ensure testing interviews, evidence gathering, and documentation of opinions.
  • Participate in reporting to the Group Internal Control team and other partners when relevant.
  • Execute testing plans, organize and manage interviews, request and review evidence, document findings, and report opinions through testing templates and global tools.
  • Identify, analyze, and report deficiencies that may arise during the testing phase.
  • Learn, execute, and share Group methodology on testing and reporting topics.
  • Participate in team exchanges on methodology topics for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure relationships with partners for IC and IFC activities, liaise with entities to report on IFC progress, and liaise with external audit during testing phases to align calendars and support 1st lines in relation with external audit teams.

  • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in testing and reporting tools.
