Job Summary:
Morgan Philips Group is seeking a seasoned Plant Director to lead our industrial operations and drive strategic growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, from planning and execution to quality control and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement industrial strategies to optimize production capacity, efficiency, and productivity.
- Lead a team of 150+ employees, providing guidance, motivation, and leadership to achieve plant objectives.
- Negotiate with unions, works councils, and other employee representative bodies to foster a positive labor relations environment.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute plant strategic plans, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure high levels of quality, meet delivery deadlines, and optimize production capacity, efficiency, and productivity.
- Oversee supply chain activities within the plant, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory management, and coordination with suppliers and customers.
- Drive organizational change initiatives to optimize productivity, enhance operational efficiency, and improve overall plant performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the plant, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
- Proven track record in managing large teams, negotiating with unions, and driving organizational changes.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
