Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic professional to support our finance team in day-to-day tasks and general accounting activities.

  1. Maintaining accurate records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, and account information.
  2. Assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including tax preparation and audit support.
  3. Responsible for bank statements reconciliation and providing support in other accounts reconciliations.
  4. Helping with the invoicing process: issuing, reviewing, and sending invoices to clients, creating sales orders, managing direct debit, and attending to customer requests.
  5. Managing processes and tools to eliminate manual tasks and optimize internal procedures.
  6. Communicating with colleagues from different departments and third parties to discuss necessary matters.
  7. Assisting in any other task required by the accounting team.
Requirements
  1. Fluent level in English.
  2. Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field preferred.
  3. 2-4 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role (Auditor, consultant, finance system analyst).
  4. Experience with ERP software, preferably NetSuite.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  6. Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.
  7. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proactive, and team player.
