About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Project Manager to join our team at Ptw Shipyard. As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a key role in planning and overseeing boat projects, ensuring impeccable quality, adherence to schedules, and budget management.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate in the development of project documents and templates.
  • Ensure strict compliance with quality and project standards.
  • Monitor project phases to ensure they are executed on time, within budget, and meet the client's approved quality standards.
  • Provide support to the Senior Project Manager in coordinating and supervising project tasks.
  • Act as a liaison with the client's representative during the ship's stay at the shipyard.
  • Organize and supervise work across different departments.
  • Manage internal project documentation and schedules.
  • Execute reporting activities for your project portfolio and team as directed.
Requirements
  • Pragmatic with the ability to establish clear priorities while respecting project schedules.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong internal customer orientation.
  • Proficiency in ERP business management software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with design and project management software, such as SolidWorks, SolidEdge, AutoCAD, Asana, SmartSheet, Monday, or similar tools.
  • Fluent in Spanish, with a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Background in Naval Engineering, Technical Naval Engineering, or an equivalent University Degree.
  • Additional training in Project Management will be considered an asset.
